    Dr. Edward Herrman, MD

    Edward Herrman, MD is a board certified Urologist bringing extensive expertise in treating and diagnosing urologic conditions. Using both medical and surgical techniques, Dr. Herrman treats urologic conditions such as prostatic disease and tumors of the urinary tract, management of stone disease, erectile dysfunction, and incontinence. Dr. Herrman received his bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Connecticut. He then went on to earn his medical degree from the prestigious University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pennsylvania. Dr. Herrman completed his residency in urology, serving as chief resident at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, NY where he also completed his internship. Today, he is recognized by his peers as one of the area's top 50 physicians, as featured in Sarasota Magazine. Living in Bradenton with his wife and two teenage children, Dr. Herrman likes spending time with family and friends. He enjoys watching sports, especially his beloved Pittsburgh Pirates during Spring Training. He feels strongly about his community, supporting local charities, such as The Magic of Mittens.

    Alan K. Miller, MD, FACS

    Alan K. Miller, MD, FACS is a board certified Urologist and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He brings over 3 decades of experience in Urology and has been in active practice in Bradenton, Florida since 2003. Dr Miller received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 1989. He is a veteran of the US Navy and completed his General Surgery Internship at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD and completed his Urology training, in collaboration with the University of San Diego, at the Naval Hospital San Diego in 1996. Prior to completing his Urology training, Dr Miller served as both a Battalion and Regimental Surgeon for the 3rd Marine Division in Okinawa Japan and then as the Marine Expeditionary Force Surgeon in the Republic of the Philippines during the first Gulf War. Dr Miller was honorably discharged as a Commander from the Navy in 2003, after serving for 16yrs. Dr Miller is a past Chief of Staff at Manatee Memorial Hospital and has served as Chief of Surgery at both Manatee Memorial Hospital and Lakewood Ranch Medical centers. He has been on the Board of Governors for Manatee Memorial Hospital, the Manatee County Medical Society and the Florida Urological Society. He is the immediate past President of the Manatee County Medical Society, where he served two terms. Dr Miller is a pioneer in minimally invasive urologic procedures and his expertise includes treatment of all stages of prostate and bladder cancer as well as innovative solutions for all forms of voiding dysfunction. As founder and President of Manatee Medical Research Institute, he leads groundbreaking clinical research in urologic conditions. In his spare time, Dr Miller enjoys traveling, photography and riding his motorcycle.
